Tips for Successful Go-Kart Racing
- Consider taking a quick lesson if you’re a beginner
- Pay attention to the track supervisor’s safety presentation
- Wear comfortable athletic attire and closed toed shoes
- Make sure everyone in your group meets the height and age requirements
- Sit back in the seat and avoid leaning forward
- Start to release the brakes before turning corners
- Go straight as much as possible to maintain speed
- Keep your hands at nine and three o’clock or ten and two o’clock on the wheel
