Winter is the perfect time of year to try indoor go-kart racing. Indoor race tracks let you feed your need for speed without having to worry about icy road conditions or getting pulled over. Lots of indoor tracks around the country have helped indoor karting evolve into a year-around leisure activity that combines the most fun aspects of sport, entertainment, and recreation. Go-karting is great for family outings, birthday parties, team-building corporate events, and individual competition.

At FunSherpa, we offer go-kart racing and lessons in and around adrenaline-pumping cities like Philadelphia, Miami, Chicago, and Portland. Once you’ve mastered the basics with a few laps around the track, perhaps you’ll want to check out some of the other exciting go-kart tracks around the world.

The Track – Branson, Missouri

The Track is a family-friendly course that features 14 different tracks for different age and experience levels. One route, the Heavy Metal High Rise, even has a four-story corkscrew.

Monticello Karting – Monticello, Florida

This mile-long course makes 19 turns and can run in either direction. It was designed by the father of a Indy 500 champion, so it accurately simulates a true race car course.

Monarto Karting Complex – Monarto, Australia

This race track is out in the middle of nowhere and extremely competitive. Only the more hardcore go-karters should attempt this course.

Mosport International – Bowmanville, Ontario

This karting facility is located at the Canadia Motor Sport Complex and known to be one of the very best in the world. In fact, more competitive karting races are held here than anywhere else in the world.

Dubai Autodrome – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dubai has a little bit of everything, and the impressive city didn’t leave go-karting off the list. This race track hosts annual 12 and 24-hour race challenges that test experienced driver’s speed and endurance.
